Recent Project Leads Across the District

  • Community Infrastructure Development: The Groundbreaking Ceremony for new community facilities (March 15) was led by the Rotary Club of Kiwenda.
  • Diplomatic Engagement & Fellowship: The Fellowship Luncheon at the Sheraton Hotel was hosted by the Rotary Club of Kampala.
  • Cancer Advocacy: The recent high-profile launch of the Rotary Cancer Run at Nsambya Hospital was coordinated by the Uganda Rotary Cancer Programme Committee, a flagship District initiative.

Project Spotlight — Rotary Club of Masindi

The medical equipment handover at Masindi Hospital represents the culmination of a UGX 350 million WASH and Maternal Health Project spearheaded by RC Masindi.

Key achievements include:

  • Drilling of an underground water source
  • Installation of solar-powered pumping systems
  • Establishment of a reliable 24-hour water supply
  • Direct support to the hospital’s maternity ward

This transformative project will significantly improve maternal and neonatal outcomes in the region — a powerful example of Rotary’s sustainable impact.

Why This Matters to RC Kampala North

District collaboration strengthens our collective ability to serve communities effectively. Participation, partnership, and awareness of these initiatives position RC Kampala North as an active contributor to Rotary’s mission across Uganda.

Members interested in attending, partnering, or supporting any of these activities are encouraged to reach out through the Club leadership channels.
