Today is the first Monday of November and, as is our Club's practice, our regular fellowship will take the form of a Club Assembly.
The Club Assembly is an important opportunity for members to review Club business, receive reports, raise questions and take part in decisions on matters presented by the Board.
Ahead of today's meeting, the Executive Secretary circulated the Agenda and Club Assembly Paper, which set out a number of matters for members' information and consideration.
Among these, three matters will come before the Club Assembly for decision :
Review the report for July–September 2026, including Club operations and separately designated funds. Members are being asked to consider the report for approval.
The Board proposes a revised manual covering financial procedures, procurement, responsibilities and accountability. A companion comparison explains what has changed.
The proposed Memorandum of Understanding updates arrangements for Club fellowships and Board meetings, including minimum spending commitments. The agreement is before members for consideration, not yet approved.
Also for information: Club administration and updates on Bwambara, SORVPV, digital literacy, literacy and WASH concepts, and forthcoming project activities.
Read the papers, understand the proposals and come ready to participate.
The Agenda, previous minutes, Board Paper, financial summary, revised Manual, explanation of changes and proposed Protea MOU are all available in a phone-friendly reading room. No PDFs to open.
